The Universe has always been observed from the Earth, first of all with the naked eye, then with increasingly powerful telescopes. Since the conquest of space in the 1960s, humankind has succeeded in identifying the various bodies of the Solar System: planets, dwarf planets, our star, comets, moons…. And now, exoplanets !
After you have watched this video, you will understand the difference between these various bodies and will be able to distinguish between a planet and an exoplanet.
