In these interviews, scientists of the Exoplanets-A project talk about their profession and their passion for astrophysics. They present their work within the Exoplanets-A project and share their expectations for future space missions (JWST, Ariel, Plato…). The interview ends with a short message, a thought that scientists wish to share.
Interview – Michiel Min
Michiel Min is a Program Leader for scientific research into exoplanets at SRON, the space research institute in the Netherlands. Within the Exoplanets-A project, in the Work Package 3, he is responsible for the analysis of the observations, the so-called process of retrievals. He developed the ARCIS code.
For more information, see his talk at the Exoplanets-A Meeting : Consistent and homogeneous retrievals on full datasets: our road to characterizing exoplanets with JWST.
